I am an award-winning producer and Stonybrook podcast fellow who's passionate about teaching and using creative mediums such as audio, writing, and art to tell stories that leave an impact.

I received my BA from the American University in Cairo (AUC) where I majored in Multimedia Journalism and minored in Creative Writing. During my undergraduate studies, I fell in love with audio journalism while creating my first audio feature: An Educational Journey: From Qena to Cairo. It won two awards; one from the BEA and the second from the SPJ

Upon graduating, I worked with my mentor and previous professor Kim Fox on her award-winning podcast Ehky Ya Masr (Tell your story Egypt) as an assistant producer. The series that I've worked on won a total of three awards from the BEA and made history by being the first to win two Best of awards.

I also worked as a teaching assistant for Audio Production, Intro to Podcasting, and Multimedia Writing courses at AUC for two semesters.

Currently, I am working with JAR Audio as an Associate Producer. One of the series that I worked on called This is Small Business: Next Generations won two signal awards in 2023.
